The Global Land Project's 3rd Open Science Meeting, “Land system science: understanding realities and developing solutions”, will take place from 24 to 27 October 2016 in Beijing, China.

The upcoming third OSM 2016 will be organized by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences under the coordination of Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) and International Project Office (IPO) of GLP. The aim of the event is to bring together large parts of the international research community working on land system issues, showcase the width and scope of ongoing research, help build a community in this highly interdisciplinary field, inspire new research, and facilitate review, theory building and application of science in practice.

The Global Land Project (GLP) is pleased to announce the opening of a call for sessions for this conference.

GLP is currently looking for original and innovative session proposals of high scientific quality, societal relevance and relevance to the land science community. You can submit your session proposal through the online GLP-OSM2016 conference interface. In case you cannot access the conference website, you can connect directly to the submission management system. Once session proposals are selected, a call for abstracts will be issued in January 2016 for individual contributions.

For more information on the conference, please visit the conference website, or (in the last resort) contact the organisers: [email protected]

GLP look forward to receiving your contributions. The abstract submission deadline is 30 March 2016.
