The topic is Resilience of Social-Ecological Systems in natural and in human-dominated landscapes. The meeting will be hosted by the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, Tunghai University, TERN (Taiwan Ecological Research Network).

Overall meeting structure

  • Monday and Tuesday: Science Conference
  • Wednesday: Field trip for all participants
  • Thursday and Friday: ILTER Coordinating Committee Meeting

  • Full text or extended abstract: 01 July
  • Notification for oral and poster presentations: 01 August

  • Regular registration/payment: 15 September

Venue

The meeting will be held at the Nan Shan Education & Training Center, a first-class, technologically-advanced convention facility in central Taiwan. Located at Mt. Dadu, ETC offers visitors a retreat from hustle and bustle of the city and yet still provides connections with urban convenience. It is just 15 minutes from Taichung High Speed Rail Station. National Freeway No.1 and No.3 Interchanges are also nearby.
