Post-doc opening on Env governance at Södertörn Univ (Sweden)
As part of a growing portfolio of research projects at the intersection of environmental governance, social and environmental justice, and learning for sustainability transitions we are excited to announce a 2-year post-doctoral position at our department. The position is open at the School of Natural Sciences, Technology and Environmental Studies of SÖDERTÖRN UNIVERSITY, Stockholm, under the “Planning with youth: a tool and a framework for an engaging, meaningful and forward-looking participation of youngsters in shaping attractive and sustainable living environments” research project (granted by the Swedish Research Agency).
With this announcement we are hoping to attract candidates that have passion for these research topics, are attracted to interdisciplinary research and are interested to innovate on theory and methods for scientific inquiry in the field of environmental governance. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with hands-on activities, interact with stakeholders (based in Sweden, Denmark & the Netherlands) and develop as an expert in environmental governance within a supportive environment that champions personal development.
At Södertörn University the postdoc will be supervised by Romina Rodela (the project PI). The post-doc will also receive support and mentoring from participating project partners that include Copenhagen University (prof. dr. Natalie Gulsrud), Wageningen University (prof. dr. Arjen Buijs), and Winnipeg University (prof. dr. Alan Diduck). Visiting research periods at partner institutions for research and for data collection will be available.
