Opp: Possibility for ALTER-Net researchers to join EU ENV proposals
The draft of the EU ENV 2013 calls shows that several calls could be of interest to ALTER-Net researchers. If you (or a research group) work at an ALTER-Net institute and you want to participate in or take the lead on a proposal AND you want to use the ALTER-Net consortium to increase your success significantly, please inform our Coordinator, Jiska van Dijk ([email protected]) about your interest. She can forward/circulate this to other interested people within ALTER-Net.
Information you should send:
- Name(s) of interested researcher(s);
- ALTER-Net institute where you work;
- Which call you are interested in;
- If you want to lead or participate.
Rules:
- The person/research group who will take the lead may ask you to provide max. 1 A4 with your ideas for including in the proposal. It is up to the leader to decide who he/she wants to include in the consortium;
- The person/research group who will take the lead should reply to all interests received and either invite them for further participation or explain the reason for excluding;
- Everybody is requested to report back to Jiska about participation, merging consortia, changes in coordinator and all other important processes etc. so that we can maintain an overview of what is going on. This information will be hold internally and will not be published until deadlines are passed;
- The ALTER-Net Secretariat is not responsible for consortium building processes, nor for communication processes within the different consortia.
Please note:
- Only the draft call text is currently available. The text (and/or call numbers) may change when the final call text is published;
- All interested persons should be involved actively in the proposal writing process. Simply giving notice of your interest is not going to be sufficient!
Because people are eager to start, interested people should reply to this facilitation service before 15 March 2012!
