ALTER-Net presented at BiodiversityKnowledge conference
Jiska (from NINA, Norway) was speaking at the second BiodiversityKnowledge conference, held in Berlin in the framework of a European research project. She presented ALTER-Net as a key European biodiversity research network. Her talk was one of a number of speed presentations on existing networks of relevance to biodiversity research in Europe. With nearly ten years of experience, ALTER-Net has a lot to offer to the biodiversity knowledge landscape in Europe and to attempts to bring existing networks closer to each other in order for them to be more efficient and powerful. This closer cooperation or integration was also the topic of a panel discussion with representatives of about 10 of the European networks.
