How to reach the venue

By plane: There are two international airports in Belgium, Brussels national airport (Zaventem) and Brussels south airport (low cost airport situated in Charleroi). From Brussels it takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to Ghent by train.  You can find train timetables here: http://www.belgianrail.be/en/Default.aspx

By train and tram: You have to travel to the railway station of Gent Sint Pieters. For time tables see http://www.belgianrail.be/en/Default.aspx

From the railway station of Gent Sint Pieters, you can take tram 1 to the centre of Ghent (duration: appr. 15 minutes). You have to get off at the stop Gravensteen (Gravensteen is a medieval castle). From there, it takes a five minute walk to the monastery. When you exit the tram, go to your right, then go left into the Geldmunt street. Go straight on, you now enter the Sint Margrietstraat. then take the first street left (Academiestraat).  There you will see the INBO-banners that mark the entrance.  See the map here: http://goo.gl/maps/AI3OD.
