In Memoriam: Karl Baadsvik
This morning we received the sad news that Karl Baadsvik suddenly and unexpectedly passed away this weekend.
Next to Terje Parr, founder of Alternet, Karl played a very significant role in creating Alternet during our early days and in getting funding as a Network of Excellence. A few years ago Karl received the Norwegian King's Medal of Merit for his work regarding nature research and conservation. He was 78 years old. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
