Irstea is a public research institute on sciences and technologies for environment and agriculture. Our research institute realises, coordinates and promotes research in the domain of sustainable environmental management focusing particularly on natural, semi-natural and agricultural landscapes and their natural resources (water management and quality, prevention and mitigation of natural risks, management of biodiversity and natural resources, ecotechnologies). We aim to transfer knowledge at science-policy interface and we support high education training.
