Network Strategy Workshop
In April 2014 ALTER-Net partner institutes will sign up for a new period of ALTER-Net and an updated working programme with the ALTER-Net activities will be launched. This together with the upcoming Horizon 2020 calls, the EU 2020 Biodiversity strategy and other (political) drivers opens up for possibilities to build an even stronger biodiversity research network. During the workshop we’ll reflect on the success stories and on processes that were less successful and we challenge the participants of the workshop to help us to build further. We’ll address the challenges when it comes to outreach activities, ALTER-Net’s science-policy interface, alliances with other strong networks such as MARBEF and ESP and ALTER-Net’s research agenda and its relevance to policy.
